The Basic Quantum Meter is used to determine

the amount of light that plants use.

It accurately estimates radiation in the

400 - 700nm range, which is the specific

range of light used by plants.



Easy to use:

You only --just turn it on, hold it at eye level

(with the sensor surface on top horizontal) and

read the values.

The sensor is cosine corrected for operation in

sunny or cloudy weather and at high noon or when

the sun is lower in the sky.



The Basic Quantum Meter reads solar radiation of

0 - 1999 µmol m2 s1 (0 - 10,000 foot candles).

It has a standard operating range of 32 - 122°F

with less than 80% relative humidity from 32 - 86°F

and less than 70% relative humidity from 86 - 122°F.

It runs on one 9V battery (included).

■光量子計Quantum Meter とは

植物の成長にもっとも必要な400 ~700nm
の波長の有効光量子を計測する測定器です。

光合成は400~700nmの波長領域の光子によって
行なわれておりこの光を光合成光子粒(ppf:
Photosynthetic Photon Flux )と呼んでいます。
測定単位はμmol m-2 S-1
(マイクロモル/平方メートル・秒)で表示されます。

光量子は光子によって運ばれるエネルギーを表し、
この製品は光量子センサーと呼ばれます。
